MOORE QUESTIONED ON ASSETS

Speedway Champion In Court

(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, December 11.

The world speedway champion, Ronnie Moore, of New Zealand, who had earlier admitted liabilities of £5617 and assets of £350, appeared in Court today at the resumed hearing of his public examination in bankruptcy. He was asked by the official receiver if there were any likelihood of £5OO owed by his “former racing stable partner,” Raymond Thackwell, for “partnership debts” coming to light. Moore replied: “Thackwell telephoned me and said he would pay £loo—he said he would borrow it." Questioned about two cars left over when .his second-hand car business was sold, Moore agreed that one had been sent back to the finance company and the other sold.

The Registrar adjourned the examination until January 15, when it will be closed. Afterwards, 26-year-old Moore, father of six-months-old twins, said:. “I am planning to take a job as a driver. We have got to live throughout the winter."
