BEACH PATROLS APPOINTED

Beach patrolmen for the forthcoming school holidays were appointed by the Canterbury Surf Life-saving Association at the week-end. Their duties will commence on Monday, December 21, and will, apart from public holidays and week-ends, when the beaches will be patrolled by club members, finish at the end of January.
