NEW SEASON’S WHEAT PRICE

Statement Likely Next Week (New, Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, Dec. 10. The Minister of Industries and Commerce (Mr Holloway) said today that he hoped the Government’s decision on this season’s wheat price and storage payments to millers and growers would be made next week. He said this when asked to comment on a Timaru report that a meeting of interested bodies had urged the Minister to make an announcement. Mr Holloway said the members of the Wheat Committee were already aware of the position that the Government’s decision could not be made earlier than next week.
