Strong Note At London Sale

(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 8 p.m.) LONDON, Dec. 5. The current series of London wool sales continues on a strong note, say London Wool Brokers, Ltd., and the London Agency of the New Zealand Wool Commission in a joint report. Competition was again keen with the result that a good clearance was made of the 10,250 bales offering. Greasy crossbreds which predominated amongst 4400 bales of New Zealand wool were against the buyer. Scoureds were rather scarce and can be quoted unchanged while a small offering of slipes met a very similar demand to that at the opening and were firm.
