Molla MaHory Dead

(N.Z. Press Assoctatign—Copyright) STOCKHOLM, Nov. 23. The famous tennis player, Mrs Molla Mallory, died in a Stockholm hospital yesterday, British United Press reported. She was 75. Mrs Mallory was Norway’s outstanding player from J 904 to 1914, when she settled in the United States. She was an Olympic bronze medallist at the Games in Stockholm in 1912. She won the United States singles title in 1915, 1916, 1918, 1920, 1921, 1922 and 1926. She also won women’s and mixed doubles championships, including 1922 and 1923 with Bill Tilden. In 1922 she beat Susan Lenglen in the women’s final at Wimbledon. She returned to Stockholm in July to visit a sick sister.
