Routine, which was favourite for the Caulfield Cup until she went lame, will probably return to racing in the Kinross Handicap at Moonee Valley on Saturday. Routine has not started since she failed in the John F. Feehan Stakes at Moonee Valley on September 19. At her first Australian start she caused a shock when she won the Moonee Valley Chesterfield Handicap on August 29, but then she finished last in the weight-for-age Memsie Stakes At Caulfield. However, she still retained favouritism for the Caulfield Cup. Her trainer, F. -W. Hoysted, has had Routine in work for five weeks now and has been taking her along steadily. She has had several five furlong sprints and is fit enough to win first up. If she starts in the Kinross, W. Williamson will be tap" jockey
