VICTORIA LEAGUE RECEPTION

Naval Guests Entertained The captain and officers of H.M.A.S. Voyager, representatives of the services and kindred associations were entertained by the Victoria League at Elizabeth House last evening. ' The president of the Victoria League (Mrs R. B. Neill) received the guests who included Captain W. J. Dovers (H.M.A.S. Voyager), Captain J. N. Allan and Mrs Allan, Lieutenant-Commander J. S. Pallet and Mrs Pallot, Group Captain T. J. de Lange and Mrs de Lange, Brigadier J. T. Burrows and Mrs Burrows, and the chairman of the Elizabeth House board, presidents of the English Speaking Union, the Royal Empire Society and the Navy League and their wives. Floral arrangements were predominantly pink and white, featuring irises, peonies and roses.
