The sitting member of the Middleton Riding who has been a member of the Council for the past six years. He Is Chairman of the Town Planning Committee of the Waimairi Council; an executive member of the Regional Town Planning Authority; a governor of the Christchurch Boys’ High School; a vice-presi-dent of the Upper Riccarton Memorial Library; a vice-presi-dent of the Upper Riccarton Tennis Club. He has been in business for the past 6 years on his own account and was made a Justice of the Peace 12 years ago. A resident of the Middleton Riding for the past 30 years and, naturally, its welfare has always been of special interest to him. —P.B.A
