Nonagenarians Travel By Air
(New Zeatana Press Association) GISBORNE, Nov. 17.
Two nonagenarians were passengers on a National Airways afternoon flight to Gisborne yesterday. They are Mrs J. Wahren, aged 99, Tauranga bound, and Mr JClark, aged 93, of Gisborne, home from a trip to Australia. Mrs Wahren, travelling from Wellington to Tauranga to meet her daughter, Mrs D. Ross, will be 100 on February 4. Mr Clark, who lives with his daughter, Mrs L. Bugden, in Gisborne, has just spent a month in Australia revisiting his former home town of Stawell, Victoria, after 57 years.
