Seamen Charged J At Lyttelton
Angus MacDonald, aged 23, a greaser in the overseas ship Tasmania Star was charged in the Magistrate’s Court at Lyttelton with behaving in a disorderly manner while drunk in Oxford street. He pleaded guilty and Messrs F. E, Sutton and A. B. P. Large, Justices of 1 the Peace, said they would take into consideration the fact that ' he had been in custody most of , the week-end and ordered him , to pay costs only. Arne Wilfred Jorang Hereindal, ; aged 42, a seaman in the over* . seas ship Susanne, who pleaded . guilty to a charge of using . obscene language in a milk bar, . was convicted and fined £5.
