Reports Before Mr Boord A '• (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 13. A report by the inter-depart-mental committee on the establishment of - a television service in New Zealand, together with a report containing submissions made by the public on television, are at present being studied by the Minister of Broadcasting (Mr Boord). The Minister said today that the former report contained the “pros and cons of alternative lines of action which can be taken” in the establishment of a television service. The report itself contained no recommendations, but surveyed many aspects in 'connexion with the introduction of television. “It will be some weeks before any plans can be drawn up,” said Mr Boord. “When these plans have crystallised, they will be placed before the Cabinet for further consideration.”
