Herald Announces Final Dividends
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) MELBOURNE, Nov. 13. The Herald and Weekly Times. Ltd., today announced the following final dividends for the year ended September 30: — Ordinary, BJd a share, making, with the interim of 3jd, a total of Is a share for the year. Preference, 31 per cent., making 61 per cent, for the year; and "B” preference 3 per cent., making 6 per cent, for the year. Dividends are payable on December 9.
Tooth and Co.—Tooth arid Co., LtdSydney brewers, interim dividend is 6} per cent., payable December 16. — (N.Z.P.A. Sydney. Nov. 13.) Transport Nelson.—Transport (Nelson) Holdings interim dividend is 4 per cent., ’ payable December 11; ex dividend. November 24.—(P.A.) Wilson’s Cement.—Wilson’s Cement recommended dividend is 3} per cent, payable December 4, ex div. November 21.—(P.A.) Reid Rubber.—Final ordinary dividend is 5 per cent, (making a steady 9 per cent, for the year). Dividend is payable on December 16— (P.A.) Carlton and United.—Carlton and United Breweries, Ltd- increased consolidated net profit by about 10 per cent m the year to June 30— from £1,749,693 to £1,923,611. Sales for the year are disclosed at £44,426,000. Dividend, held at 11 per cjent. on £1,217,457 (previous £l,o72,46o).—Melbourne, Nov. 13.
