Street Appeal Brings More Than £320
From 100 collecting points around the city yesterday, the British Sailors’ Society collected more than £275 in its annual street day appeal. A street appeal in Lyttelton brought the society an additional £5l.
The chairman of the society (Mr W. C. Keetley) said early last evening that he was extremely grateful for the support which the appeal had received.
