Confusion At New York

(NJi. Press Association—Copynghti NEW YORK, November 5. When the visiting President of Guinea (Mr Sekou Toure) arrived at New York City Hall yesterday after receiving the city’s traditional ticker-tape parade, he was greeted by the wrong flag. Someone had hoisted the flag of Ghana on the front of City Hall instead of the flag of Guinea. At the official welcoming lunch, the acting Mayor (Mr Abe Stark) committed the day’s second error when he noted that Guinea had just entered the family of nations “when it was admitted to the United States last year. . . . ” Mr Stark then quickly corrected his statement to say “United Nations,” instead of the United States.
