(New Zealand Press Association! PALMERSTON NORTH, Nov. 8. Additional championships decided at the Royal Show today were:— HORSES Clydesdales Championship entire: R. J. and F. J. O’Connor’s (Nelson) Donnybrook Sharus. Champion mare: R. J. and F. J. O’Connor’s Tunima Jessamine. Working Horses Champion: R Jessop’s (Awahuri) Dan. Thoroughbreds Champion mare: Mr and Mrs D. Clarkson’s (Hastings! Awatea Lass. DAIRY CATTLE Champion bull: J. M. Morgan's (Waipaehu) Highland Laddie. Champion female: A. Horn and Sons’ (Levin) Allandale Miss Rhoda. SADDLE PONIES Champion pony, not over 12.2 hands: K. Riddell’s (Dannevirke) Henry Lee. Champion pony brood mare: Robin Eliott’s (Kai Iwi) Tally Ho. Champion pony, over 13.2, and not over 14.2: Rachel Dickie’s (Waverley) Zingara. Sailing Club Site.— The North Canterbury Catchment Board decided yesterday to permit the Stewarts Gully Sailing Club to remain on the present site until the end of the season in April, 1960, and to assist the club in arranging for another site.
