PIQUE TO COME HOME

Preparation For G.N. Derby (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) SYDNEY. October 12 Pique, winner of the Chelmsford Stakes at Randwick on Saturday, will be returned to New Zealand as soon as possible instead of going to Melbourne for the Victoria Derby and Oaks. Mr Frank Donohoe, a part owner, who said he would make the transport arrangements early this week for Pique's return, said she would be returned to be prepared for the Great Northern Derby at Auckland on Boxing Day. Donohoe said Pique had lightened off considerably since her race in the Australian Jockey Club Derby. She would be eased up in New Zealand before being trained again by D. Jones, he said.
