Colombo Plan Conference
(N.Z. Press Association —Copyright) DJAKARTA, October 11. President Soekarno of Indonesia will formally open the Colombo Plan conference ministerial meeting in Jogjakarta, Central Java, on November 11, Antara News Agency said today. The meeting will last until November 14. Antara said all 21 member countries of the Colombo Plan had agreed to send delegates to the meeting. The United States will send an 18-member delegation led by the Deputy Under-Secretary of State, (Mr Livingstone Merchant). Indonesia will be represented by 13 delegates, headed by the Foreign Minister (Mr Subandrio).
