DAIRY PRODUCE MARKETINC
Exchange Of Views With Australia
(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, October 12.
Four members and three executive officers of the Australian Dairy Board have exchanged ideas with the New Zealand Dairy Products Marketing Commission and the New Zealand Dairy Board in the last five days.
On his return to Auckland tonight, Sir Christopher Sheeby, chairman of the Australian board and leader of the party, said he was satisfied that close harmony existed between Australia and New Zealand in their search for new markets.
‘‘Our arrangements minimise competition, yet help both of us to get maximum prices on overseas markets,” he said. The exchange of figures of production and sales to various markets would “greatly benefit the planning of policy for the 195960 season.” Sir Christopher Sheeby said. The Australian party will leave by air tomorrow morning for Sydney.
