Notice is hereby given that Necia Stringer and Lillian May Winter, both of Christchurch, Married Women, being the occupiers of a haberdashery shop Situated at 42 Bowhill road in the New Brighton district, the closing hours of which have been fixed by the New Zealand (except Northern Industrial District) General Retail Shop Assistants Award will apply to the Magistrate's Court at Christchurch on Wednesday, the 21st day of October. 1959, at 2.15 p.m. for total exemption from the requirements to observe such closing hours namely for permission to open on Saturdays between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. in respect of the sale of all classes and kinds of goods sold in shops bound by the said award PROVIDED that the said shop be closed all day on Wednesdays. The grounds for the application are (1) That it is in the public interest at a seaside resort. |2) That no other shop is substantially affected.
