Reid Murray Bids For N.S.W. Furniture Firm
Reid Murray Holdings, Ltd., is negotiating to purchase the furniture business of Cowells White House Pty.. Ltd., in George street, Sydney, with a view to making that freehold property the N.S.W. headquarters lor the Hustlers group. It is understood that negotiations, possibly involving a mixed payment in Reid Murray shares and cash, are at a fairly advanced stage. Reid Murray’s takeovers have already given it a chain of electrical goods shops in Sydney and suburbs as well as the real estate development business of New Constructions. Ltd. Gilbert Lodge.—Final dividend is 6 per cent., payable November 5, ex div. October 30. (P.A.) N.Z. Motor Bodies—lnterim dividend is 4 per cent, payable October 16. ex div. October 16.—(P.A.)
