Peking Jams Tour News

NEW YORK. Sept. 23. Peking Radio was jamming reports on Mr Khrushchev’s speeches and activities in the United States, diplomatic sources reported in New Delhi today. The sources said also that the Chinese press was playing down Mr Khrushchev’s remarks and giving out only the sections of his statements which highlighted the differences between Russia and the United States. According to these sources, China was obviously apprehensive that an “understanding” might be reached between Moscow and Washington.
