East Coast Withdraws Shield Challenge
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 15. The East Coast Rugby Union has advised the New Zealand union that it does not wish to have its special Ranfurly Shield challenge—which was to have been played against Taranakitransferred to Southland, the new shield holders.
