Three Failures Alleged

LONDON. September 15. British sources last night confirmed the statement by the United States Vice-President (Mr Nixon) that Russia had three moon rocket failures in the last two weeks before they fired their fourth shot, the “Daily Express” science writer, Chapman Fincher, reported. ‘ , The rockets 'are believed to have been fired from a site near the northern shore of the Caspian Sea, observable by NA.T.O. radar sets operating from Turkey. The rocket firing facilities available to the Russians are even greater than had been imagined. The Russians have so much confidence in their rocket hardware and guidance methods that they are unconcerned about the date for a moonshot
