Interest On Early Tax Payments. —Regulations introduced in Fiji make provision for taxpayers to receive interest at 24 per cent for advance payment of their taxes. The arrangement has been made to assist 'taxpayers in spreading their payments over the year. It will have the added advantage producing more revenue for the Government in the early part of the year, when money normally comes in slowly. Suva.
