Rugby Bookings

Sir, —If ‘‘Number 3” is complaining about the way in which the back row of the enclosure stood up perhaps he should find out why. We queued for nearly two days and according to the reports were supposed to be issued with the best seats in the enclosure. As a result we were in the very back row of the enclosure where we had to stand to see the match at all and when play got the least bit exciting the front people stood up and we could see nothing except heads. Other people in the back row and the row in front again were all in the same boat. If this is the idea of the best seats I would like the person responsible to try them out. Apple boxes were used to support planks of wood and we had to keep trying to hold the wood on top because the flimsy boxes broke to pieces Yours, etc., ONCE STUNG. September 3, 1959.
