OBJECTIONS TO SCHOOL

Talks Today With Minister No member of the Canterbury Education- Board has been invited to attend a meeting which the Minister of Education (Mr Skoglund) is to have this morningin the board's office—with the representatives of two school committees which object to the building of the proposed Burnside intermediate School. The schools whose committees are to meet the Minister are the Burnside and Fendalton primary schools. "The Minister hasn't asked the board tp attend the meeting.” said the chairman of the board (Mr S. J. Irwin) last evening. “Mr Skoglund just asked the board for the use of its board room. If that's the way he wants to go about it, well, all right.”
