The Minister of Agriculture (Mr Skinner) will represent the Government at a reception to be given in Christchurch for Cardinal Agagianian on Tuesday evening.

Mr J. F. Hemphill, a senior administrative officer of the Australia and New Zealand Bank. Ltd.. Melbourne, is in Christchurch during a brief visit to New Zealand. He is accompanied by Mr G. H. Bridge, a district manager of the bank's New Zealand head office.

Mr D. P. Munro has been appointed secretary of the Retailers' Federation. He succeeds Mr R. F. Wilson, who has been appointed general secretary of the National Party. Mr E. R.
