RANFURLY SHIELD CHALLENGE
Urbahn Included In Taranaki Team
(New Zealand Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH, Aug. 17.
The Taranaki representative Rugby selectors have named R. J. Urbaiin as the half-back for Taranaki in the third Ranfurly Shield challenge game against Wellington at New’ Plymouth on Saturday, and J. F. McCullough as first five-eighths, with last Saturday’s All Black halfback, K. C. Briscoe, as a reserve. Nine forwards have been selected, the final decision resting on C. R. Carroll's fitness.
The team, announced tonight, is: J. L. Bayly; E. J. Keith. D. J. Mathieson, T. P. O’Sullivan; R. H. Brown, J. F. McCullough; B. J. Urbahn; P. S. Burke or I. B. Darnev; J. Carroll, C. R. Carroll or P. W. Burke. A. J. Mackie, B. J. O'Neill; I. H. Macdonald, R. J. Boon, I. C. A. Flavell.
Reserves.—Backs; K. C. Briscoe, W. J. Cameron. P. L. Penn. Forwards: M. S. Mackay, R. D. Green. W. R. Coles.
