Negotiations With U.S. Buyers

(N.Z. Press association—Copyright) MELBOURNE, August 13. Negotiations are proceeding between a Sydney bloodstock authority, Mr George Ryder, who is acting for two American businessmen, and Mrs W. M. Kellett, part owner of Sir Blink, for the sale of the New Zealandbred four-year-old to the United States. Last week, Mr Ryder received a commission from the two Americans to buy four top-line Australian thoroughbreds. Mr Ryder made approaches to the connexions of Sir Blink, Webster, Valerius. On Guard, and the New Zealand horse. Second Earl, but the owners of Sir Blink are the only ones interested in selling. Sir Blink (Blue Coral—lnky) won the 1958 Caulfield Cup as a three-year-old.
