WELLINGTON. August 13. The Taranaki Hunt Club will hold its annual meeting at New Plymouth on Saturday. The double will be on the Halcombe Memorial and the Stratford Handicaps. The track has improved after rain early u. the week, and should be in good order
Water Mid. winner of the Beaufort Steeplechase at Riccarton, is to run in the Standish Memorial Handicap for amateur riders. His stablemate, Azurite, will contest the Hunt Cup.
