St. Andrew’s Beats Ashburton
The St Andrew's College second fifteen beat the Ashburton High Schoo] first fifteen by 14 points to o in a Rugby match at St. Andrew's College yesterday. St. Andrew's College dominated the line-outs and the rucks, but the scrums were evenly contested. The St Andrew’s College backs combined better than their opponents, who-e defence was very solid. For St. Andrew’s College tries were scored by Johnston (2), Jenson and Harrison. Judson converted one try. For Ashburton, Hepburn scored a try which was converted by Wells.
