TOPDRESSING PLANES
Nearly £250.000 Paid Back To Board (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 31. The annual report of the Meat Producers’ Board states that of the £250.000 advanced to aerial topdressing operators for the purchase of modern planes, only £lOOO is at present outstanding. “It is doubtful.'' the report says, “if the overall increase in primary production over the last few years could have been achieved without the help of ‘K valuable and progressive dustry.”
