A Hungarian swimmer, Laszlo Kovats, today scored a surprise victory in the Capri-Naples race for the world long-distance swimming championship Swimmers from 13 countries entered for the >ace neld across 19 nautical miles of the Gulf of Naples. Kovats, whose time was lOhr 7min 4sec. won In s thrilling finish, just 7min ahead of Alfredo Camarero. the Argentinian winner of the event in 1955 and 1956, and record holder for the contest Abou Heif, of Egypt, was third
