Marlborough.—South-westerlies, fresh in coastal areas, otherwise light or moderate; some showers mainly about the coasts and ranges this morning; otherwise mainly fair and cold. Outlook: mainly fair. Canterbury.—South-westerlies, fresh about Banks Peninsula and in, some other exposed coastal areas for a time at first, with some showers, but the winds mainly light or moderate inland, with fair, cold weather.
