STRUCK BY TWO CARS

Pedestrian Suffers Head Injuries

Head injuries were suffered by a pedestrian when he was struck by a car and thrown to the roadway and then hit by another car travelling in the same direction as the first, at the corner of Moorhouse and Hagley avenues about 3 a.m. yesterday. He is Kenneth Sinclair Thomas, aged 26, of 152 New Brighton road. Mr Thomas was taken by a St. John ambulance to the Christchurch Public Hospital and admitted. His condition was reported last evening as satisfactory.
