CURRENT NOTES
Kindergarten College.— Miss M. Miller, formerly director of the Phillipstown Kindergarten, was recently welcomed to the Kindergarten Training College as new student supervisor. Miss Miller was appointed to this position in May. Students of the college also bade farewell to Miss G. Gain, director of the Cranmer Speech Clinic, who has leave of absence to study in England. Miss Gain has lectured at the college in speech therapy.
Methodist Central Mission.— Th 20th birthday concert of the Methodist Central Mission was held last week. More than 200 people attended. At the concert Sister N. Bulford thanked the staff of Wesley Lodge, Wesley Hospital and Rehua Maori Hostel for their continued fine service. Sister S. W. Ayers thanked all the vonluntary workers who served hot meals to aged people, staffed the goodwill store and ran the Darby and Joan club.
