Rhinoceroses To Mate In Zoo
(Rec. 7.15 p.m.) LONDON, July 2. The second rhinoceros born in captivity is off to Milwaukee to meet the first rhinoceroa born in captivity, according to United Press International. Zoo officials hope the result will be the third rhinoceros bom in captivity. Mohinija, a 19-months-old female Indian rhinoceros, has been sold to Milwaukee Zoo by Whipsnade Zoo, where she was born. She will be mated there to Jimothi, who was born in Basle, Switzerland.
