Clearing Of Surplus Dairy Products
(N.Z. Presa Attociatton—CopyrigM) LONDON, July 1. An Australian delegate to the International Dairy Congress in London yesterday put forward a plea for a world organisation to act as a clearing house for surplus dairy products. Mr C. J. Macdermott (Queensland) proposed a world organisation to be established with the support of all members of United Nations within the framework of the Food and Agriculture Organisation. Financing could be arranged through the World Bank and the United Nations Economic and Social Council.
