LITERARY FUND GRANTS
Four Announced By
Minister
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 2.
The Minister of Interna] Affairs (Mr Anderton) announced today that the following State Literary fund grants have been approved: £lOO to Denis Glover Books, Wellington, to assist publication of a collection of short stories by Phillips Wilson; £225 to the Caxton Press, Christchurch, to assist publication of “Because of Fear,” a novel by E. Brathwaite; £3OO to the Pegasus Press, Christchurch, to assist publication of “A Gun in My Hand," a novel by Gordon Slatter; and £lOO to P.E.17. to assist the holding of a writer’s conference.
