Viscountess Galway’s Daughter Wed

The marriage • took place last month in the private chapel at Serlby Hall, Bawtry, Yorkshire, of Mr Joshua Francis Rowley, only son of Colonel Sir Charles and Lady Rowley, of Hadleigh. Suffolk, and the Hon. Celia Monckton, second daughter of the late Viscount Galway and of the Dowager Viscountess Galway, of Serlby Hall. The bride lived in New Zealand as a child when her late father was Governor-General of New Zealand from 1935 to 1941.

Given away by her brother. Viscount Galway, the bride wore a gown of cream taffeta and Brussels lace, and a tulle veil held by a diamond tiara. She was attended by four children.
