Rough Rugby
Sir,—l am sure every supporter of dean Rugby will heartily endorse your sub-leader of today and the letter of your correspondent, "1928 Old Maroon" After the game in Auckland, the answer to my comment that a certain Player in the local side should have been put off the field for rough play was, “But he always Plays a rough game; he’s their b st player.” What an admissionl 1 t us hope that our referees will be fearless and put a few such Players on the side-line and that they will be fully supported by the unions concerned. —Yours, etc., GUY SCOTT. June 30. 1959.
