FRENCH GRAND PRIX
McLaren To Drive Cooper (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) RHEIMS, June 30. Britain, represented by works teams from the 8.R.M., Cooper, and Lotus stables, will face stiff competition from the Italian Ferraris and two independent Maserati teams in the French Grand Prix at Rheims on Sunday. Among the leading drivers taking part are Stirling Moss (Britain), Joachim ■ Bonnier (Sweden), and Harry Schell (United States), all 8.R.M.; Jack Brabham, the Australian currently top of the world drivers’ championship, Masten Gregory (United States), Bruce McLaren (New Zealand), all Cooper; Graham Hill and Innes Ireland (Britain), Lotus; Jean Behra (France) and Tony Brooks (Britain), Ferrari; Roy Salvador! (Britain), Cooper-Maserati.
