(New Zealand Press Association! NEW PLYMOUTH, July 1. Taranaki's top-ranked Rugby referee, Mr R. A. Forsyth, w . h “ 11 «'. a 8 appointed by the New Zealand Rugby Union to referee the game between the British Lions and Otago at Dunedin on Saturday has had to decline because of illness. Ranked as Taranaki’s top referee for some seasons. Mr Forsyth refereed the third test between New Zealand and Australia at Auckland last year.
