Increases of capital notified in the "Mercantile Gazette” include:— B.M.W Industrial Services, Ltd.Capital increased from £6OO to £2500. Heirloom Furniture, Ltd.—Capital increased from £BOOO to £12,000. Lorraine Estate, Ltd.—Capital increased from £30,000 to £40.000. Victoria Furnishers, Ltd.—Capital increased from £ 15,000 to £ 16.000. Overseas Finance Companies.— The purchase of shares in New Zealand finance companies by “two English companies, one oi which is just entering the New Zealand market in this manner' was referred to in his annual address to shareholders by the chairman of Credit and Finance, Ltd., Mr H. S. Williams. “These companies are still controlled by the Capital Issues Committee and can only increase their funds by £ 10,000 yearly. Because of this we do not anticipate any harmful competition,” he said. Harnish and Jordan.—Hamish and Jordan, Ltd., Venetian blind manufacturers, Auckland, have advised shareholders not to dispose of their shares in the meantime.
