THREE PREMISES BROKEN INTO

Money And Cigarettes Stolen A gallon tin containing pennies and silver, valued at between £2 and £3, cigarettes and other items were stolen by thieves who broke into the service station of Mr P. Consedine at the corner of Cashel street and Stanmore road, on Monday night. The back door of the premises, at 454 Cashel street, was forced and the tin was taken from the floor below the till A row of cash on top of the till was missed. The rear door of a coal and firewood premises, next door at 42 Stanmore road, owned by Mr E. Russell, was also forced but as far as is known nothing was stolen.

About £3 in cash was stolen from a carton manufacturer’s premises at 7 Battersea street on Monday night when a rear window was forced to gain entry. The money was taken from the office tiU.
