Mr Moyle was commenting on a suggestion by the New South Wales Rugby League vice-president (Mr Jim Duckworth) that the Kiwis play St. George Club in a mid-week fixture after the third test. St. George is the unbeaten leader of the Sydney club competition. Mr Moyle said; “Our travel arrangements are complete, and we will not want any extra fixtures. Moreover, I am sure the New Zealand Rugby League Council would not want me to agree to play against a club side, no matter how good that side may be."
