Golf HOLE-IN-ONE AT TAI TAPE
A member of the Tai Tapu Golf Club. J. Amos, holed in one in a stroke match at the club's course at the week-end. Amos is a former New Zealand Rugby League captain and manager. He was playing in a semi-final [match in the club's Waitaha Cup competition, when he holed his tee [shot at the 120 yard third hole. He used a No. 7 iron. Amos won this [ semi-final against L. Woods.
