Man’s Death From Head Injuries
(New Zealand Press Association) WESTPORT, June 15. Thomas Jones, a widower, aged 66, of the mining township of Ngakawau. was killed about 10 o’clock last night on the Ngakawau bridge.
He was struck by a cycle ridden by William Ronald Ratcliffe, and in falling is presumed to have hit his head on the side of the bridge. He was found to be dead on arrival at the Buller Hospital.
