Dame Margot Fonteyn’s husband, Dr. Roberto Arias, was likely to be leaving the sanctuary of the Brazilian Embassy in Panama with a "safe conduct’’ pass within a few days, according to the “Daily Mail’’ diarist. Dame Margot Fonteyn had told him she expected to "hear something” in the next few days. "I have nothing very definite to go on, but we hope he will be allowed to leave quietly,” she said.
