New Zealanders At London

(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, June 14. New Zealand has two players— Lew Gerrard and Mark Otway—in the London grass court lawn tennis championships which open tomorrow at Queen’s Club. They are in separate halves of the draw.

Otway has a hard first-round match, against Bob Mark, while Gerrard meets the American, G. Bassett. In the women’s singles, New Zealand will be represented by Miss Ruia Morrison and Miss Pat Nettleton, also in different sections of the draw. Miss Morrison’s first match is against Miss M. Hammill (South Africa) and Miss Nettleton plays Miss Edda Buding (stateless).
